MCR100
cod. 100.308MCR100 is a cryptographic module used in SLTs to decode data contained in the transponders in a secure way, preserving the security and confidentiality of the keys stored in the module and used in the decoding process, in accordance with the State Department of Logistics and Transport under Resolution SLT nº 13, ANNEX VIII - Technical Requirements for Cryptographic Module.
Resources / ApplicationsThe MCR100 USB Module is the product used in the Transponder Reading System (SLT) to perform the decryption process of the information contained in the vehicle transponder.
The MCR100 ensures that confidential keys or data are not exposed by compromising the safety of the SLT system. It was the combination of hardware and firmware in which the encryption and decryption processes occur.
The MCR100 USB Module features USB 2.0 communication interface, support for AES and RSA algorithms for encryption and decryption, and also has FIPS PUB 140-2 Appendix C algorithm for random numerical generation. In addition to being approved by NIST FIPS 140-2 standards, meeting all safety level 3 requirements.
