Starwood Hotels & amp; Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is the world's most comprehensive luxury hotel company. Its strength lies in nine distinctive lifestyle brands, an award winning loyalty program and 181,400 talented employees worldwide. This project was developed in one of its units in Brazil with the purpose of demonstrating the feasibility of automating the room inventory process using RFID technology. Therefore, the main objective is to carry out the control of assets, simplifying the consultation process and the conference of the operational staff of this unit.

The INOVA RFID Equity solution has simple and immediate installation, simply download the application on any Android device. When you log in, all company information will already be pre-registered. The solution counts with a video manual (tutorials), totally online, and real-time support on the web. Software with hybrid technology allows use of RFID, bar code or visual identification of the BRFID partner.

Proposed Challenge:
Decrease asset tracking and control time and inventory accuracy using RFID technology.
Equipment:
900-BT reader and RFID tags.
Solution:
Creation of an entire data structure in database, allowing easy integration with legacy systems. Cloud database, allowing for instant magnification as new accessions are made, as well as security of backups and redundancies in 24x7 usage.
Operation:
The tag is applied to hotel objects and checked with the BT-900 reader, which identifies the items inside the room, without having to be removed from the room. Once the conference is over, you can view asset information such as model, manufacturer, location, cost center, etc.
Differentials / Practical Improvements:
The use of the integrated database to the RFID system allows errors to be avoided, as well as speeding the material conference and assuring the control of assets.
