The TSL-3166 incorporates the latest TSL hardware innovations, delivering improved performance and greater energy efficiency, with a significant increase in battery autonomy.
Powered by the latest generation of Impinj silicon, the reader achieves read rates of up to 1,200 tags per second, enabling multiple operations per tag within a single inventory cycle, such as reading different memory areas, writing data, and locking tags. On-reader deduplication, with support for up to 1 million transponders, prevents overloading the connected host and ensures efficient data transfer.
The device also supports passive sensor transponders, including temperature, strain, humidity, and acceleration, compatible with HID solutions and those from other manufacturers, expanding its range of applications. To simplify integration, TSL provides sample code demonstrating how to use these sensor transponders.
Thanks to the improved efficiency of its internal hardware, the TSL-3166 delivers longer operating times, allowing a higher volume of tag reads per charge, with up to a 34% increase in battery life compared to the previous generation, the 2166 model.
Designed to read and write EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and EPC Class 1 Gen 2 V2 tags, the TSL-3166 can also be configured with high-performance 2D data capture, offering category-leading data collection capabilities to any connected host.
