HID® Glass Tags for Industry and Logistics
Manufactured using HID’s patented direct-bonding technology, HID Global glass tags deliver exceptional size-to-performance ratios for both low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) applications.
The glass encapsulation protects the embedded electronic components from exposure to harsh chemicals, ensuring reliable tag readability and excellent stability under fluctuating temperatures.
Glass RFID tags can be embedded into custom housings and mounted on virtually any surface (metal, plastic, wood, paper, and even water), making them ideal for tracking assets such as tools, equipment, pharmaceuticals, production inventory, metal drums, or gas cylinders.
Among HID’s latest innovations, the Glass Tag Ultra transponders provide greater read range performance than any low-frequency tag of comparable size, along with a generous 512 bits of read/write memory.
- High quality: fully automated manufacturing and direct-bonding technology ensure the reliability of RFID tags
- Virtually unlimited options: wide variety of standard sizes and integrated chips with customization possibilities for any application
- Robust reliability: high resistance to chemicals temperature fluctuations and liquid immersion
