Sigschindler implemented a biometric system with VIRDI and ACURA Part HID equipment in the Barra Tower building
The Barra Tower building, in Rio de Janeiro, adopted a modern technological solution based on biometrics and RFID, a growing trend in various areas of control and traceability. The installation of biometric terminals directly on the reception turnstiles made access faster, more comfortable and safer, especially during peak hours, when speed is essential. To meet this need, AC-2100 type terminals were used, combined with RFID cards, ensuring a control system fully integrated into the daily flow of residents and employees. The biometric solution incorporated into the turnstiles showed excellent performance and integration into the environment, demonstrating that this type of technology offers practicality without requiring large investments. The result was a visually modern system, simple to install and with direct fingerprint validation at the point of entry, raising the level of security and efficiency of the building.
