Tobacco and Smoke
Industries
Brazil is the world's largest tobacco producer, with production concentrated mainly in the southern region of the country due to favorable climatic conditions. Thousands of small producers supply the various processing plants that use tobacco leaves to produce cigarettes and derivatives, in addition to export to dozens of other countries.
RFID's recent adoption in the areas of smoke processing has brought full traceability to each bale of tobacco, identifying its producer, origin, type, weight, and other information.
